SMOKVICA JOVANOVA

Smokvica in Gospodar Jovanova gives you the opportunity to find yourself in the legendary historical house besides the unforgettable taste and the ambience of enjoyment. The architect of this historic building is the first woman architect in Serbia, Jelisaveta Načić. This was a house of bookmaker Marko Marković from 1904 and was recently proclaimed a cultural monument, and now it is our Smokvica, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy a special gastronomic culture, as well as the overall culture of life.

The work on reorganizing one of the symbols of city life on the Danube slope lasted for four years, since it was essential that every important architectural detail was preserved. The fig tree that was in the courtyard was replanted five meters away, and it was daily treated with great care.

Interior that looks like the scenery of an artistic film, is a work of Sanja Popov Radovic, whose concept and Interior design is distinguished by each of Smokvica.

First choice that will be difficult for you is to choose at which of the two levels to spend your time, since in every corner of this Smokvica you can imagine yourself, while you may also think that it is never  cold enough that you do not find yourself in the garden, which looks like a soothing living room, only without a roof.

In addition to the unusual gastronomic specialties that each Smokvica offers you not only sensual pleasure, but also a unique experience of taste, Smokvica in Jovanova also has a pizza wood stove (oak and beech), made from Naples flour with a little yeast and no sugar. If you feel that you are not ready to leave, be carefree, Smokvica in Jovanova has 6 double rooms.
